Logo design for Bullaroo Weed Hygiene Services. This company wanted a logo that would incorporate not just what they do, but also the indigenous representation of their name sake.
The name Bullaroo stems from a lagoon known as “Pembroke” lagoon to early settlers which is situated between Surat and Roma. Early settlers documented that they would often see a Bunyip swimming in the waterhole and it was sometimes referred to as “Devils Waterhole”. Apparently the lagoon has never been dry.
In order to incorporate this, we considered the Bunyip eye in the water as the main icon.
Their primary aim is to provide certification through a clean down with high pressure water and air to all vehicles that enter the field to prevent noxious/pest weed and seed contaminants being spread. In the logo design this is represented through the ticks in the ‘OO’.
