Case overview
A bold logo design for a Toowoomba based second hand timber and construction material, Deano’s Timber Yard
This package was for the business as time of start up, so we worked on creating the logo, which also needed to work as a graphic on a shirt.
Involvement
- Logo / Visual Identity
- Business Cards
- Letterhead

The Brief
Create a visual identity, starting with the logo design for a business that sells second hand building materials, which they collect from their demolition company. The design is to feature a lumberjack in order to capture people’s attention and turn heads, while also being able to be used a graphic on a T-shirt.
The brand was to have a vintage feel to it for the second hand nature of the material – being reclaimed.
The Results
A head turning illustrative logo design, guaranteed to capture attention. A simpler version of the design was also included for cases where embroidery or other applications was required.
This is still up there with one of my favourite projects, that has withstood the test of time.
